Some tiny planets of the Elizabeth Park Conservancy
#elizabethpark #tinyplanets #360photography
This image features a unique, 360-degree "tiny planet" perspective centered on a wooden post with carvings, including a heart. The post supports a circular, trellis-like structure above, surrounded by curved wooden benches. Beyond the structure, you can see green grass and trees under a blue sky, all wrapped around the central focal point. The perspective used in this photograph is often referred to as a stereographic projection or a "tiny planet" effect. This technique maps a 360-degree panoramic photo into a circle, making the ground appear as a central sphere and the sky as the surrounding border. The central wooden post appears to be a focal point for visitors, as evidenced by the carved heart and initials, suggesting it may be a popular spot for couples or a meaningful location within the park or garden. This image is a 360-degree spherical panorama, often called a "tiny planet" photo. It shows a circular garden bed filled with colorful flowers and surrounded by trees, all wrapped into a sphere against a cloudy sky. The garden features a variety of pink, yellow, and purple flowers arranged in patterns on a green lawn.

From a visit to the American Clock & Watch Museum in Bristol CT
#clocks #grandfatherclocks #tinyplanet #360photography
This image shows a distorted, likely 360-degree or fisheye, view of a room filled with various grandfather clocks. The clocks are arranged along the walls, and the room features wooden paneling and a vaulted ceiling. The perspective creates a tunnel-like effect, drawing the eye toward the center where the clocks converge. The lighting highlights the different wood tones and intricate details of the clocks.
