Probably won't convert this to a wrestling account for a few reasons.

Stay here for sardonic takes, self-deprecation, top-shelf music recs and absolutely unhinged political raving.

I do want to still follow wrestle friends and see/support your stuff, however!

Sixers looking good in preseason opener, Flyers still have the most embarrassing power play in all of time and space, getting outshot by a 2:1 ratio again.

I'm a Philadelphian - excellence in one sport alone ain't enough.

Just a reminder: Tillis persuaded the woman Hegseth allegedly raped to come forward with her story, and told her that if she did, it would sink the nomination.

She did. At great risk to herself. Tillis then cast the deciding vote for Hegseth.

Because he’s a goddamned coward.
Outgoing Sen. Tillis regrets pivotal vote for Hegseth: ‘He’s an actor. He’s not a manager’
Outgoing Sen. Thom Tillis spoke to MS NOW about regretting his vote to confirm Pete Hegseth and his strained relationship with Trump.

All I'm saying is we thought Kamala was gonna win walking away after that Iowa poll had her up 3 just before election day so let's keep the powder dry. I worry people are gonna be suicidal if shit doesn't play out. We ate two shit sandwiches we didn't expect. And we asked for the second one.

My upcoming book, SCARCITY, lays out a roadmap for Dem electoral success by tailoring policy to punish both groups.

I'd say I'm joking but honestly we've tried catering to them for decades and look where that got us. Going forward: no more carrots, only sticks.

The way to deal with the right is simple: out vote them. deprive them of power and influence. do not operate like they have anything to contribute and constantly ridicule their stupidity

As someone who delights in taking the scenic route to get to the point of a story, this era has caused me a lot of grief and frustration.
i’ve noticed recently that when i’m having an in-person conversation, i feel this internal pressure to make my point faster/a perception that the other person is growing impatient. and i realized it’s because we’re so used to getting info in quick clips now that a longer explanation feels foreign.

That’s the sound of Sixers tickets getting even more expensive since they’re the only hope we have left.

A decade or so back I was sitting on a job offer in Los Angeles. Went on a mid-October roller derby road trip through CT/MA over the weekend, and views like this convinced me to decline.

The following week, the SEC announced they were investigating said company.

You are in no way prepared for how terrible this is.

Absolutely guffawed out loud on at least 5 occasions in this watch.

Not sure i could feel anything remotely resembling pity for Ben Shapiro. That's still true, but this is pathetic enough that I came incredibly close.

Flyers' Power Play is perhaps the worst I've seen in all of hockey history, but I'm still somehow optimistic about this season.

Getting a point from defending Cup champions (losing on a terrible penalty call in OT) means the potential is there.

I thought our neighborhood in France was a bit "right-leaning." Not my culture or nation, so figured I'd steer clear of politics.

I didn't realize that "right-leaning" meant "your mayor is an ex of Marine Le Pen."
