My opponent has taken tens of thousands of dollars from corporate execs and PACs. The auditor’s job is to provide accountability and transparency in government - not serve a partisan or corporate agenda. That’s why I don’t take corporate PAC money. You will always know who I answer to: Iowans.

I spent the evening with a terrific group engaged voters in Sioux Center last night. They're looking for someone who will continue the independent leadership in the State Auditor's office. That's why I don't take a dime of corporate PAC money - I answer to Iowans, not the special interests.

I'm proud to have the support of the men and women building Iowa for my campaign for State Auditor. Iowa's Building Trades Unions represent some of the hardest working people in our state and they deserve an auditor who can be trusted to guard their tax dollars.

Chris Cournoyer doesn't think the auditor should be able to fully investigate fraud and abuse. I disagree. The auditor's job is to protect taxpayer money. It's not able politics, it's about public trust. As auditor I will use the office to root out waste and support government efficiency.

I’m traveling to every corner of Iowa to talk to voters about what the Auditor’s office can do for them. It was great to be in Wayne County to share more about my campaign to be an independent watchdog ready to protect your tax dollars from abuse - no matter which party is in charge.

Today we traveled to Marengo and Grinnell, meeting with Iowans who are ready for a State Auditor who will follow the money, fight corruption, and hold government accountable. The momentum is growing and we are grateful for everyone who came out to join us today!

I’m proud to stand with UAW members in Cedar Rapids who’ve been on strike since July. Their company is making record profits and they deserve to share in the prosperity they’ve helped build.

We’ve had a good time at the State Fair, from grilling pork burgers, to going 100 feet up in the air in a bucket truck, to speaking at the Soap Box, with a lot of great food in between. Sharing some fun fair photos from over the past week!

Thanks to the Iowa Pork Producers Association for inviting me to join them at the Iowa State Fair! We had a great time flipping pork burgers and meeting folks hungry for leadership that will stand against corruption. Topped a fun evening off with a pulled pork sandwich and pork belly on a stick!
