A day of testing with a new immunologist took a major toll on my body, but answers are finally coming.
For the first time since a cardiac event and a bout of sepsis laid me low, I have real hope that I may yet recover.

Dolly meant so much to so many. She represented the best of humanity: intelligence, wit, humility, kindness, and genuine care. I’m sure that most people will remember her music, but I hope she is remembered first and foremost for her heart, charity, and indefatigable spirit.

She used the small of my back as a bed for half of the night, and now she’s bundled up in a blanket next to me.

Sweet baby girl is down a single tooth and is super floppy high, but she made it through anesthesia just fine! Thank goodness.

In 8 hours, my tiny girl experience her first dental cleaning. I don’t fear anesthesia myself however, as someone whose heart stopped when waking from anesthesia a few years ago, I’m terrified for her. Here’s hoping everything goes smoothly.
