A conversation happened a few years ago with my auntie. Her insta had been hacked. She used it to see her family and friends. She got her account back and I helped her set up 2fa on all her accounts, even beyond social. She then asked me something I can't really forget..

At the OBGYN and they have the "endometriosis playlist" going which consists of The Cranberries and Tracy Chapman. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

He doesn't know what a corner store is.
He's taking rich and out-of-touch to new and exciting places scarcely imagined.

Gotta love that as soon as oil hikes hit Australia my government decided to make all public transit free. This is one of the many reasons I'm never returning to the states.

What if you gave a web developer from 2006 Claude?
“You’re absolutely right!”
The year is 2006. A contract web developer who is working from home decides to take his Pomodoro break by walking to a thrift store down…

What's always fascinated me about political women and their loyalty to Donald Trump is just how tragic their personal stories are. Monsters are rarely born monsters. Commonly they are made. Never question they are monsters, but understand they became that way because they were women tortured.

What's really interesting is all the pizzagate, qanon, hunter Biden laptop people are absolutely silent on the biggest pedophile elite conspiracy coverup in the history of the USA spanning CIA, DOJ, and global intelligence agency infiltration. Where did they all go?

I am one hour into the bondi investigation with Congress and not one Republican representative has asked a single question about the Epstein files.

I've never heard a U.S. president say he wants to bring housing prices UP. It's an unelectable position. And the "Trump Homes" side grift the same week. The SAME week as an ANOTHER disgusting Epstein drop.
He is never planning to run again. He's betting on elections not being valid or nasty.

Trump supporters do not read and they certainly do not read documents. I'm not sure what we're expecting here but it won't be a Christmas miracle.

Samwise Gamgee resonates as a millennial. He rolled with the end of the world and his near death repeatedly, while having qualifications he never used (botany), because he was told to follow his manager. Happy end: home & children. They prob would not qualify his income in the shire for a home loan.

I cannot recommend One Battle After Another enough. Paul Thomas Anderson is a favorite writer/director and this screenplay feels audacious enough to be the plot of an Almodóvar film from the 90s. Incredible performances in a world all too familiar.

For those who can, here are links to donate directly to local efforts on the ground resisting ICE's terrorizing of Minneapolis. Let me know what you donated to where, and I'll match it until I get a panicked call from my bank!

I guess I'll keep waiting for the NRA to come out and publicly denounce a man being shot for a valid CCW permit, using his 2A rights, while also not drawing a weapon on anyone...
Just kidding, I'll head to bed now.

The e-newsletter new years edition from my therapist contained some pretty deep truths. One that stuck with me is:
"Overthinking is under-feeling. Feel more. Feel bravely."
Hope that sticks with you too. Get curious about your emotions today folks.

I have the utmost respect for Senator Kaine and Senator Warner but we do not need “coaching” on redistricting coming from a cuck chair in the corner. How about you all stay focused on the fascist in the White House and let us handle redistricting in Virginia. 10-1

Hey slightly serious post, please share if you can: if you are a #software developer in the #Australia area and are looking for a #tech job, please reach out to me. I'm looking for mid or senior engineers who excel at constraint based optimizations, typescript, and k8s. Sound like you? Get in touch.

I don't know if this is a hot take, but sometimes I feel like this industry treats people who have been in a codebase for a long time and wrote all the bugs as senior. Seniority to me means something very different than experience. Thoughts?
