Yes. If the huddled people trying to exist on the sidewalk bother you, maybe consider giving them housing and help. Shit, it costs less to house the homeless than it does to leave them on the streets, anyways. Cruelty is fiscal irresponsibility.

This is a legit big deal. Service-connected disability compensation is about making Veterans injured in service to their country whole. It isn't like other income, and it was very frustrating watching Veterans be excluded for assistance they needed because it was being counted against them.

Check on the Vietnam and Gulf War combat Veterans in your life. A lot of them have kids or grandkids in the service and in harm's way and are probably struggling not to decompensate. There is help available.
