it didn't even occur to me that the government might try to execute someone a second time if they torture the person but fail to kill them during a first botched attempt. truly grotesque and a moral stain upon all involved.

A win! A federal judge in Georgia today dismissed the Justice Department’s lawsuit seeking unredacted copies of the state’s voter registration list.
DOJ now 0-26 after judge rejects demand for Georgia voter rolls
The judge said the Civil Rights Act does not authorize DOJ's demands for the Peach State’s unredacted voter roll.
