@smartypants.dropout.tv topologically speaking a straw has 1 hole. what's really gonna fuck you up is that a balloon that is inflated and then tied off has -1 holes, and popping it by putting a hole into the balloon returns it to a state where it has no holes.

do exoplanet astronomers refer to the leading side of a planet that is tidally locked as the "dawn" side and the trailing side as "dusk" side. seems to me those are words for the local stars apparent motion in the sky. maybe call it the twilight zone?

why oh why are we so strongly invested into a LOX / LH2 rocket when the best we have is "keeping leaks under allowable limits." this fuel is so hard to contain, and so dangerous.

Hey NASDAQ:TSLA I don't know about anybody else, but having Elon step down is not enough for me to change my mind about boycotting. buy him out, make him divest from the brand entirely, then maybe I'd reconsider. I'm more likely to buy the new EV from the former founders, personally. #teslatakedown

Reading a review of Helldivers 2 and it refers to the game as anti-fascist satire, like Starship Troopers. It occurs to me that really they are fascist-sorting media. if you are anti-, you go "see, fascism bad" and if you are pro- you go "see, enforced governance good" and nobody learns anything.
