local cryptid monster just hanging out in my library doing crafts with the bjd horde.
being forced to use A*i that isn’t set up properly (i have to wait for someone to get me access) and being told i still need to do something with it.
watching my country fall apart at the hands of the orange menace and friends.
wishing i could just fast forward to the inevitable apocalyptic ending.

f*ck old white men and their sense of superiority & entitlement.
f*ck all men with large trucks/suvs and their sense of entitlement to do whatever they f*cking please when driving.
i’m done. aside from a select few people, the whole world can just f*ck off. burn it all. the human experiment is done.

considering a personal policy of malicious compliance where it comes to a*i and business. you’re going to force me to use it? you’re going to get whatever shit it spits out and the metrics to match any additional work i have to do to fix said shit.

it’s disgusting how rapid forced normalization is going. how quickly enmeshed things are becoming without greater regulation or consideration. the cognitive dissonance, the (semiacknowledged) fomo, the willing feeding of the beast at our own expense. all for what? supposed increased profits? #fuckai

i love seeing men who read romance/romantasy books step up and point out the elephant in the room: if certain books were written by a man, it would be marketed as fantasy. it’s especially amusing to see all the comments trying to naysay - especially those coming from male presenting commenters…

this week just keeps punching me down. it feels like 2026 is packing all the demoralizing and bad into it, with each day bringing some fresh new thing to deal with that will ultimately just pile on to the sadness, existential panic, stress, and overhanging doom and gloom.

solution to the bathroom problem: require all businesses to make single, accessible, gender neutral bathrooms. at least two depending on business size. if they want to do gendered, they need to include a lounge and decent stalls. no crowding, no lack of a good way to dry your hands, no broken bits.

re: the current argument that men aren’t getting published as much
1. there are a lot more women putting out published works that visible in the past. either via not using masculine names or initials, or just plain in general, it doesn’t matter.
2. there’s still A LOT of male authors getting…

unless i decide to do one more last minute project, i think i’m nearly done with the crafting part of my prep for resin rose. now to just get the dolls ready and pack. *looks at winter* do i want to restring you? #bjd #resinrosebjdexpo

started reading a book by an author i haven’t read before. while it is written well enough, there is just too much exposition going on. descriptions that are unnecessarily long and just plain not needed for something that is in passing. the plot is getting bogged down when it has places to go…

watching sense and sensibility for the first time in a long time and wow, i forgot how much i hate the sister in law…

what’s one of the things you miss that was very much a part of its time?

i’ll start: campground convenience stores of the 90s and prior.

how did i spend my long weekend? avoiding the books i know will give me emotional devistation and instead reading dire bound and quicksilver. **stares at the books she knows she will enjoy, but that are going to gut her emotionally**

wishing that A*i bubble would burst already. at this rate, whenever a massive failure of breach comes to light, A LOT of businesses are going to suddenly fail since they’ve been putting all of their eggs in that basket…

all the shoehorning in of A*i and FOMO being caused is one thing, but for the marketing to be turning to “it will make life easier and do all the business for you!” and essentially saying you can cut out the foundational programs/work is utter BS. it can’t do the thing without the base to rip from!

the level of snidely whiplash villainy occurring in this country (and the world) without the consequences really makes you wonder. the sheer gaston-ness of so much of it is laughable (in horror for humanity).

one must ask: where is our dudley do-right? our magical hero? someone so good to fight it?

while it is annoying to put things out there and get little to no feedback/engagement, it’s also very freeing to live in relative obscurity. nobody cares, so no pressure to do things or perform for the masses; just rolling with my own brand of chaos and randomness.

she-ra: medieval fantasy world with futuristic tech and a moralistic bent to the lessons, weird girl power x misogyny themes, scooby-doo animation and voice acting feels, and a gaslighting character that never appears in the actual show…

yup, this was peak 80s kids shows!
