Dr. Fauci is a hero. He really is. He helped guide America thru a mass death event. Millions more could have died but they did not, thanks to him. Everyone over 70 owes him a debt. It is disgusting that we live in a country that not only dishonors him but actively smears his good name.

Even though the 10th Circuit's recent decision on immigration detention pointed to a bond hearing as the remedy, Senior Judge William Martínez of Colorado is still out here ordering people's immediate release because he doesn't trust the government to provide a fair bond hearing:

I was one of Alex's nursing faculty at MCTC. This is simply devastating. He was a good student and I knew he'd be a good nurse. Im so sorry for you and his VA family. May his memory be a blessing and an example of what a nurse is.

I feel like the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting--where twenty children and six educators were killed--marked a turning point.
