Congrats! UW PhD student Brandon Morande in @socprobsjournal.bsky.social: Seattle clears encampments and impounds vehicle residences not where homelessness is prevalent, but where property values rise, complaints climb, and (for vehicles) more Black residents live.

TL;DR: Prevalence of doubling up and high rents are two sides of the same coin: our housing shortage.
