I’ve been feeling this same way about AI in code. I just resigned myself last year to ever figuring out how to do software without it though… because its very clear where I’ll end up if I don’t accept the reality painted by tech oligarchs and my superiors… and don’t have an alternate career path.
feeling really defeated about this, honestly. every time i find something cool I inevitably find out it was coded with claude and I start to wonder if I'm being too stubborn about it. i know it's the overton window shifting but it's making me feel crazy
why are otherwise anti-ai folks so insistent on coding with it? I feel so lost about this. i left the tech industry and learned an entire new set of skills just so i wouldn't have to interface with AI and y'all are just making it your one exception because "code is too hard". fuck me i guess
