The atrocities of Nazi Germany happened gradually, through escalation: isolated selective brutality & murder, official impunity, dehumanizing propaganda, weakened legal protections, arrests, a state captured media.

Then came the mass violence, but only once the public were conditioned to accept it.
Maine is in absolute outrage! Protesters took over Senator Susan Collins’ office chanting "VOTE HER OUT" after an ICE thug brutally executed a 26-year-old Colombian man. We demand immediate accountability for this state-sponsored murder! Enough is enough!

AOC: I said this a couple of weeks ago: I would not be surprised if, when ICE funding started up again, we would start to see more civilian deaths at the hands of ICE. And that’s exactly what has happened.

We didn’t see things like this happening with the same degree when we froze ICE funding.

The administration is now removing that interpretation, arguing the law should apply more narrowly. The change could make it easier for development and other projects to damage critical habitat, making it harder to protect endangered wildlife and plants that depend on those ecosystems to survive.

A congressional investigation just found that the Trump administration reassigned FEMA workers to immigration enforcement, undermining disaster relief efforts.

Make no mistake: the Trump administration’s cruel mass deportation plan makes our communities less safe.
Assigning FEMA staff to immigration enforcement hurt disaster work, House report says
The findings by a group of House Democrats show how FEMA staffers were put to work in immigration enforcement and administrative roles, among others, straining the agency's disaster response ability.

Trump lost in court to E. Jean Carroll. A jury found him liable for sexual abuse. Now his DOJ is reportedly opening a criminal investigation into her.

This is retaliation. We refuse to sit back while the Trump regime abuses survivors. Stand with survivors. Impeach Trump.

Trump’s detention camps are extremely unpopular everywhere they’ve been proposed, but many people don’t realize DHS is planning a concentration camp in their community.

That’s why we’ve put up billboards to let local residents know there’s a proposed or existing detention camp nearby.

The Voting Rights Act has been essential to protecting everyone’s freedom to vote.

By destroying a key provision of the VRA that ensured Black voters were fairly represented, the Supreme Court today betrayed the legacy of the civil rights movement.

If you live in rural California, your ER is on the line. These federal cuts put our hospitals on life support. If the funding vanishes, the doors close.

We cannot let your zip code determine if you survive a heart attack
The math of the Trump healthcare cuts is simple and cruel. It targets:

1️⃣ Seniors & families on Medi-Cal
2️⃣ Undocumented adults losing their lifeline
3️⃣ Middle-class families facing 5x premium hikes

When they lose, we all pay the price.
