Ken Walker up to 24.50 PPR points and we should be safe!
In a full PPR league, I need 21.81 combined points from Kenneth Walker and Jaylen Waddle to pull off a win tonight…do I get it done?

It is once again time to watch the Manning Cast.

I just remembered this was the last regular-season football game I watched in the 2025 season. Jags vs. Titans at Kuriftu Resort in Ethiopia. It was quite nice.
Giving Ethiopia Jags vs. Titans Week 18 feels like the worst thing our country has done to another country since Saturday. Nevertheless, we have football, folks.

Advanced stats are nice because when you read things like this you can say that among 30 QBs (min. 20 dropbacks) in Week 1, Aaron Rodgers was 24th in ADOT on completed pass (4.2) and was 0-for-9 on passes of 20-plus yards with only one of those incompletions being credited as a drop.

Mitchell Trubisky might start 8+ games this year.
Cam Ward having five different coordinators over five years in college didn't matter when it came to making him the No. 1 overall pick. But seven coordinators in seven years is a bridge too far. Saleh is already in midseason form.

It took one (1) game for Robert Saleh to drive a bus over Cam Ward's back.

Terry McLaurin was out-targeted 9-4 by Stefon Diggs. McLaurin has seen four or fewer targets in seven of his last 11 games dating back to 2025 and has never been an elite target earner despite playing with a forgettable cast of WRs in his career. Diggs could easily lead WSH in targets this year.

It's an unsustainably small sample but Zay Flowers was targeted on 54.5 percent of his routes in Week 1 against the Colts. Six targets on 11 routes, per PFF.

A look at some negative play rates (sacks+INTs+fumbles lost ÷ total plays) for some potential 2027 QB prospects after Weeks 2 of the CFB season. Stats courtesy of PFF. Added Dante Moore to the table, and it looks like PFF changed some rushing numbers since last time.

I think he might be a good fantasy QB - the guy who delivers when the #Saints need to go pass-heavy.

But he was absolutely putrid yesterday when needing to build momentum early. So yeah, I’m not sure yet what NO has with him.
I should clarify that my decision to insinuate Shough might not be good was more about real football than fantasy football. He's a very nice fantasy player, it seems. He feels like Blake Bortles to me. You're fine with starting him in fantasy, but he might not be the long-term answer for the Saints.
There are people who thought Tyler Shough was good. I hope they are doing well today.

With MNF still pending, here is a look at Week 1's QB pressure to sack rates and Negative Play rates (min. 20 dropbacks). Posting with and without player names, since the headshots can be hard to identify.

Many are saying I have the most adorable monster living in my house. Her birthday was a success. Week 1 is in the books. It’s been a good few days.

Will Carnell Tate catch a pass before the end of the season? Many are asking this!
September 13, 2026 at 5:23 PM
It ended up being seven straight times. We should've expected this when we saw Shane Steichen on the sideline with dyed blue hair.
My buddy @zkffb.bsky.social has informed me the Colts have thrown the ball five straight times. I've seen enough. Shane Steichen is woke.
