As long as the Tories are threatening to leave the ECHR, they aren’t a serious party.

Consider it the ultimate red flag. Any party who’d take this entirely unnecessary and ruinous risk with our rights and our country’s security and wellbeing should never get its hands on power.

The rush to speculate that asylum seekers are responsible for every crime in the news is a sort of opportunistic informational terrorism. Until it’s disproved it stokes fear and hatred. When it is disproved there are no adverse consequences and they know that they only have to be lucky once.

If people don't want to pay tax to make this country function and help out the rest of society and particularly those who need help most... then maybe they should move to Dubai and stop bleating about it.

Really sick to death of it.

Faragists rely on the narrative of "men on boats" creating a de facto Fifth Column in the UK to feed their agenda and to stir up hostility and to win votes and ultimately power.

Suckers fall for it. Media boosts it.

Did you know that a Farage Reform govt intends to scrap the NHS? The private health care system he wants to introduce would cost you £10,000s, like the US, where getting ill can bankrupt you.

I think the story of our era will be of a political class that were not only not up to the times they faced, but often wilfully blind to them.
It will never not be wild to me that the Russians attacked Keir Starmer's home, successfully spread falsehoods about Starmer's love life, and this didn't changed British politics and British political elite behaviour *at all*.
7-year sentence handed down to Oleg Bessedin for anti-Estonia activities. Work for russian SVR, pay the price. His handler Sergei Nalobin is, among other things, releted to Brexit campaign and arson of the home of British PM K.Starmer.

Farage honks his mouth off about ongoing police investigations, when told not to. His Welsh leader is in prison for taking bribes from Russia. He whips up riots. He’s in bed with Trump, foreign money, crooks and crypto billionaires….

A massive problem with national security is Farage himself.

Also newspapers: Social care costs took all my savings!

We're already paying for social care, just less fairly and probably less efficiently.

There comes a point when regulation ceases to protect the consumer and becomes an industry in its own right. Post-Brexit veterinary border controls risk crossing that line, says AIMS's Jason Aldiss.
