I just spent a few days in Vancouver and was so impressed by the cycling infrastructure. It was so easy and safe to move around the central area by bike. It made me sad for Ottawa that we won’t have this kind of infrastructure anytime soon, if ever.

I really envy those who are spiritual/religious sometimes. Just currently going through an absolutely horrible dark time and wish I could find some comfort in praying to a sky entity. Unfortunately there is no comfort to be had.

Four beluga whales from Marineland in Niagara Falls, Ontario, arrived safely at Chicago's Shedd Aquarium, while two others were relocated to SeaWorld San Antonio in Texas.
