I’ve mentioned before spending my creative hour as drawing time with the little one. Yesterday I had evidence that it’s paying off. She drew this on her own, no prompting, and declared it was a pig. She’s not 2.5 years old yet.

Sunday, writing circle, woodworking and an epoxy pour. Not professional enough to sell, but functional for what I need. Using a router makes a pile of wood shavings significantly larger than the piece that was cut.

Saturday, 4 of 5 shelves completed. The last will go up tomorrow and then this project will be done. Fairly happy with how it’s turned out. Lots of pivoting during assembly as design ideas needed some updates. Good experience overall.

On assembling the first shelf I discovered a design flaw that needed reinforcement. The other shelves will be easier to update since they’re not yet in place.
Concerned I don’t have enough painted boards - so this may delay final completion.

Wall supports almost finished. One last level. They’re already cut, I just ran out of time before dinner.
