Sometimes i wonder about how in cultures i know of, non romantic closeness sometimes needs to be deflected as "just friends". I do it too. It's like romantic love is a firendship "upgrade". Even though now that i'm older, friendship and romantic entanglement are simply different things.

as someone who is more than halfway through 50 episodes of 2003’s circus drama anime Kaleido Star, 100% agree, shit just hits different. we used to be a country.
we should go back to anime having 52 episodes a season because what do you mean goodbye lara is almost half over? like all modern anime it needs time for a beach episode, a christmas episode, a polarizing middle arc, an episode for the VAs to stealth-plug their pop group, and 4-6 “Nanami episodes”

Keeping Elon's sleep schedule is no way to run a lemonade stand, let alone a country.
In 2000, a Japanese CEO who blurted "I haven't slept either" became the country's textbook example of tone-deaf leadership. Japan's prime minister boasting she sleeps only 0 to 3 hours a night harkens back to that PR disaster.
Japan's PM Says She Doesn't Sleep. That's Gonna Get People Killed.
Japan's PM bragged that she barely sleeps. Why the remark went over like a lead balloon in a country where "death by overwork" remains a grave issue.

So a while back i had an uber driver playing a playlist i saw titled "Clean R&B"
It took me a bit to realize that meant censored/Safe For Work, and not like, a subtype of the chill genre or something.

Gotta give it to Cathay Pacific for having a decent Kpop Playlist. With The Good Era of BTS (debut up to YNWA), quite a few SVT, and MX.
Also a HTTYD ost.
