Good grief. Wandsworth Council’s plans to “tackle the gridlock” & “get Puntey’s roads mvping again” all involve stealing space & time from pedestrians in a self-defeating effort to increase traffic throughput 🤦♂️

In a normal government, this results in the resignation of multiple cabinet officials (Transportation, Defense, and Homeland Security), and the closure or (at least!) radical reorg of the cartoonishly incompetent agency at the center of it: CBP.

These councillors make me sick.

I do like this little scheme on Bayley St - just off Tottenham Court Rd.
This was a signal controlled junction from a one-way street, contraflow cycling was added & then the junction filtered with a cycle track.
Now it's a bike lane & a new public space with SuDS. 🚲☔️☘️💚
