Why, yes, I *do* think that an rpg set in Mesopotamia in the 7th century BCE in which the Assyrian Empire is the big bad is the *perfect* place in which to recap theories about imperialism, colonialism, metropoles, and peripheries, and point out how they apply to the game world.
