People can't just not like something anymore. They have to try to dunk on it and anyone who likes it. And then wonder why fans get defensive. Even if its not your intention, you trying to push your opinion as the smart and correct one makes you seem like an asshole whether you like the thing or not.

new zelda looks pretty nice imo but we will have to wait and see how long it takes king zora to move before jumping to any conclusions, we can only hope the switch 2 is strong enough to handle making the cutscene longer

I also think never talking about “bad” indie games is part of the infantilization of the indie scene. Stop treating indie games with kid gloves because they’re smaller teams and you feel guilty bc it feels “more personal.” It’s your job to put that to the side and say what you think about a game.

Saying we should all go back to physical media I think misses the point. I actually *like* buying games and movies digitally for a bunch of reasons. What we need is better consumer protections so the things we do buy digitally are actually owned and companies cant delete/revoke access!
