Inspired by "The Harmony Boys" cartoon by David Low (1940). That cartoon showed Adolf Hitler as choirmaster, baton in hand, conducting a singing quartet made up of Benito Mussolini, Francisco Franco, and Joseph Stalin. Published by David Low in the Evening Standard on 2 May 1940, it satirizes how Germany was effectively orchestrating the public statements and posture of Italy, Spain, and the Soviet Union, none of whom had yet entered the war, implying they were falling into line behind Hitler's tune despite their supposed independence.

Patton US Army generals during WWII wore plain khaki/olive green shirts with star-adorned epaulettes (rank insignia), not red/scarlet epaulettes with gold fringe or braid. This style of ornamental epaulettes is associated with European royal guards and Soviet bloc ceremonial uniforms. The magazine pouches and belt straps appear to be generic WWII equipment and do not correspond to any specific US weapon belt system. The collar insignia is indistinct/blurred. Trump The star on the shoulder does not correspond to any actual US rank insignia system: US generals' stars are unique, regularly spaced pins (from one to five stars), not a random set. The wings badge and ribbon holder form an incoherent mix: random colors and shapes with no coherent order of precedence. The aviator wings combined with infantry rank stars and a naval-style belt buckle mix elements that would not otherwise appear together. “MacArthur” The cap badge (that circular badge on the peaked cap) is not an exact U.S. Army design: MacArthur’s cap featured the standard “scrambled eggs” pattern with a gold eagle and braid on the brim, not this one. MacArthur was famous for his distinctive corncob pipe and aviator sunglasses; the wrong pipe is present here. The shoulder badge is vague and illegible up close.

J'ai croisé Pete Hegseth en 2011 au Centre de formation à la contre-insurrection, situé au Camp Julien à Kaboul. Je ne me souviens de lui que pour un cours qu'il avait donné, jeune capitaine de la Garde nationale, à des colonels et généraux afghans que j'accompagnais sur les principes de la contre-insurrection. Nous étions alors en plein Ramadan et lorsqu'après un long cours théorique en fin de matinée sur l'importance du respect des coutumes locales, Pete Hegseth a proposé aux Afghans de se restaurer, nous avons compris que nous n'avions pas affaire à une épée.
