Im gonna guess human. But it really can go either way, if you ask me. After leaning AI in the beginning, I mostly went human to be contrárian...
Not really my style though, and maybe someone with more knowledge and experience with prose of that style will have more confidence in their judgement.

Well, in fairness we dont actually know, do we?
I certainly dont think they are, but it is not like out field has very strong grounds for confident claims one way or another when it comes questions about the presence or structure of consciousness in systems or states far from awake neurotypic humans

Personally, I think backgrounds in neuroscience, biology, and medicine are at the same level as phil and cogsci.
Even with those backgrounds, though, you should not have *strongly* held beliefs about consciousness, imo.

That said, some might find it hard to string together words in that situation. And the main points of the speech might been in the prompt. Só, all the content could be personal and heart felt, even if the word order was suggested (perhaps more eloquently for some) by an algorithm. Idk

Anyways, I also agree about your point about citing your sources. But then again, presidents rarely cite their speech writers, at least not in the speech itself. What do they say to the same question?

While i think that use of chatgpt is suspect, I think there is more to it here.
For example, the fact that you chose to use the words likely means that the text expresses something you agree with, and that you chose to use it because they moved you too.
Perhaps you can just answer "I Agree"?
