Your donors aren't customers. When people buy, the brain asks "Do I want this?" When they give, it asks "Does this reflect who I am?"
Giving is an identity decision. Market to donors like shoppers and they'll leave like shoppers.

Your donors aren't customers. When people buy, the brain asks "Do I want this?" When they give, it asks "Does this reflect who I am?"
Giving is an identity decision. Market to donors like shoppers and they'll leave like shoppers.

The plan isn't the problem. It’s that no one built a system for revisiting it, tracking it, and holding themselves accountable. Make a plan to execute the plan!
