"I just want ministers to get on and bring our water into public ownership now".

Secretary of State Angela Eagle already has the power, AND 568,674 REASONS, to put water companies into Special Administration. So what is she waiting for??

Billionaires don't use the money they save on taxes to create jobs. That's another myth.

They use it to buy back stock, get bigger corporate jets, and build grander yachts.

I've already got the prize. The prize is the pleasure of finding the thing out, the kick in the discovery, the observation that other people use it—those are the real things; the honors are unreal to me. I don't believe in honors.

Nothing beats analogue. Tinkering away with a Hermes 3000 typewriter, taking photos with an Olympus Trip 35mm camera & jotting about it all in a Traveler’s Notebook. All different but all the same in that they are real, tactile objects that allow your senses to wonder. Love Analogue.

Want To Make Money? Build A Business On A Bike Lane
Research from New York City notes that newly installed protected bike lanes do more than keep bikers safe--they raise the income of the stores they are in front of.

Good article by Big Think on Gen Z, the generation leading the charge to living more in the real world, with real things and connecting with people the old fashioned way, face to face. Viva the Analogue revolution.

Why Gen Z is nostalgic for a world it never knew
A nostalgia-fueled real-world renaissance is underway, led by young adults striving to counter the cultural pessimism and division that pervades much of online life.

People see the finished book.

They don’t see the days when your brain is fried from work, balancing family and writing, the uphill battle of marketing, and pushing through exhausting edits.

They just see the end product.

Writers know what it took to get there.
