Building mago.studio
Not long ago, I did some AI rendering tests with Seedance 2.0, and before I noticed I had spent between $15 and $20, just to run the model a few times.

Depending on your budget and perspective, AI could be a miracle or a scary money sink; from my POV, it's just not ready for consumer uses (yet).

Another interesting approach for very short formats is going from animatic straight to final render - but that doesn't seem to be a good fit for very realistic animation

Still, exciting times ahead!

In any case, it's interesting to see how Mago can take a fairly rough input and turn it into a realistic one

I'm also using the new Global Timeline feature, the first step towards automating this

- First of all, I dearly miss prerendered cinematics in games, can we bring those back?

- Second of all, couldn't we also remaster these cinematics when older games are remastered?

type of work!

So when AI loses that and approximates the results it ends up being quite irritating

Mago Style Transfer is really solid at preserving lipsync and facial expressions and has quickly become a user favorite for this specific use case: keep the artistic intent of the source
