Do not normalize children dying from measles. Measles was previously eliminated in the US, thanks to vaccines.

When children die from measles, it means that adults have catastrophically failed to protect them because they have rejected basic science.

The effective federal corporate income tax rate:

1950: 50%
1990: 25%
2020: 13%

Stop asking "but how we will pay for it?" Restore the corporate tax rate.

That is how we will pay for it.

Your Prime Day reminder that half of Amazon warehouse workers struggle with food & housing costs.

A third have had to rely on government assistance like SNAP — which was gutted last year.

If Bezos can spend $500M on a yacht, Amazon can afford to treat its workers with dignity.

Now, the Trump administration is preparing to spend $1 billion to combat the screwworm outbreak.

Creating AI profiles of offenders is utterly dystopian and could exacerbate biases and violate both offenders and victims rights if information is hallucinated, omitted, or incorrect. This is not an area where we need to feign efficiency by using AI.
Carney government testing use of AI in prisons to create profile reports of offenders
Mentioned in documents tabled in Parliament and confirmed by Correctional Service Canada, the test run comes as the Carney government tries to ramp up AI adoption.

SCOTUS will allow Alabama to use a congressional map that a lower court found intentionally discriminated against Black voters.

A Court so fundamentally hostile to the rights of minority voters places it at odds with democracy itself.

This is Chief Justice John Roberts’ legacy.

Just weeks ago, Trump told everyone to “go out and buy a Dell.” Its stock price is up over 60% since then.

Now, Dell has been awarded a $9.7 BILLION Pentagon contract.
