We installed a water maker! It pulls seawater and converts it into water safe for drinking/use & puts it in our tank. Most marinas turn off reg water access during winter due to the risk of freezing. Last year we had to fill our tanks weekly via a underwater hose, no issue with that this year! wags

I’ve been working out for a month now pretty consistently and I think I’ve managed to make a habit of it. I’ve introduced dieting in the form of counting calories and I’m a week into that, I got a good plan! Also 1 month sober from weed today (gunna introduce the weekly 10mg edible this weekend).

Summer feels like it’s over. We’re starting to see days where it doesn’t break 80. I’m so ready to open the doors, windows, and turn off the AC for that nice Chesapeake Bay breeze. I’m such a fall girlie, It gives me dopamine.

It’s that time of year again - filling up for diesel for heat in the winter. Ended up putting in 357 gallons. The fuel dock kid dropped his phone in the water while we were fueling so @twitchy.bsky.social got the scuba gear, dove, and found it! It still worked! Got $40 off fuel for that one. 🤣

It’s been a while since I’ve had an opportunity to fully indulge in my headspace. There’s just so much “adult” stuff going on it’s tough to feel like a dumb dog. I just wanna feel like a dumb dog. -.-

The furry community isn’t the same as it was when I was 18-25. The community used to feel close-knit, but it’s gotten so divisive in recent years. I don’t really consider myself a furry anymore, I identify instead as a therian/pet player. I’ve kinda felt this way for a few years now, I suppose.

I think once I hit 35 days on my weed t-break I’m just going to allow myself a 10mg edible on the weekend for the foreseeable future until surgery. My research has been telling me that the 5 week break should clear my system from 12yrs daily smoking, and edibles should help minimize CO in my blood.

I’m excited to be over summer soon. Fall is my favorite season. I get to open the boat up to the cool breeze, get my pumpkin spice fix often, the colors on the trees look so pretty. It makes me want to go out and enjoy nature. I’ve been craving this kinda of dopamine and it’s right around the corner

Twitchy & I did a lil trip back to NJ this weekend with some friends from camp crucible. Hit up big snow again and I finally got to hit up some of the coasters! It was a lot of fun! We’re finally back to the boat and I’m very excited to sleep in for the first time in almost 3 weeks tomorrow! *wags*

The amount of people twitchy and I had coming into the Megaplex daycare room, looking around, and literally going “this isn’t what I heard it was” was mind-blowing. A big portion of our lead duties this year was just giving an overview of what daycare was and (successfully) dispelling rumors.

the ones running the bab room at megaplex were doin great work and community outreach and awareness to prove we are not what instagram furries claim is SO important
