My record shop find of the day: the Blood Brothers EP Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band recorded when they reformed back in 1996. I had a CD copy of it that came with the documentary they put out to mark the occasion, nice to be able to revisit it on vinyl & hear the full E Street band lineup

In my family, thanks to a picture book* I read with my children when they were learning to read, the word trump is associated with flatulence. The book has been loved and trumps highly disliked all their lives.

In my world of relative insignificance petrol prices have risen to make cross-country care visits nigh on unaffordable
I may not be doing what I hoped to be but it is nice that my particular dance with the divine is rebuilding my confidence by showing me that I can and am making a meaningful difference to others.l - although I’ll keep praying for life, work and finances to be easier I can give God thanks for that.
