Has Live2D reverse engineer livestreams. I think under hood its doing, Viewport Texture bake and saving (Texture Handle/Pointer to VRAM) each individual mesh island.
Which is kinda crazy, But conceptually the same thing as drawing subtle variations. Less planning 4 artist

Kinda junky to flip textures like this.
Alternative is separate "Mesh island" textures that you can mix and match, etc. But I just wanted something lazy.
Seems more effort then its worth and/or Texture variation needs to be more subtle.

Nothing wrong with it. Just. I think the engine is heavy and the less time I actually in the GUI. The happier I am.
Which shouldnt be the case...

So like, Theres "Scenes" with a text file '.tscn'. Config file that, I might copy past the same texture path and change UVs there. In engine, clunk but also. Even if it wasnt.
Weird oversight?
Or they silently, want you to use bindless textures. (Empty pointers you fill later (promise) on GPU)

Some things annoying with Godot. Sprite batching is flag or hidden flag? But even if it isnt, I think its re-uploading the same image if use a sprite atlas and get the regions.
Or forced into Spritesheet thing that enforces same sizes.
Very goofy stuff for no reason

Hopefully I'm not banned on X / Twitter?
Blessing in disguise, really eats up a lot of time for a hand full of posts I really care about reading.
Social medias, are more negative then positive. YT shorts or just pumping out 'content' is the modern play.

Animations is an extremely crude placeholder. Still messing with art wise. But, They will be slop. Same base BS between multiple characters
Still kinda figuring out the moving parts but, it will be a simple. Vampire Survivors clone
Then I'll get back to figuring out engine.

I'm usually parasocial and interested to see what other peoples thoughts on coding is.
Though admit, It isnt a popular thing livestreaming

Cause I find learning is often piece meal-'d.
Hard to just to get a clear begin->end. idgaf about explaining every nuance at times. I'll look it up later.
Just run through it. I may be impatient

Responding to myself if anyone is vaguely interested.
To me, Coding never made sense. Cause I had a lot of un-answered questions of why? Seeing a game "dissected" cleared up a lot of my questions. Also watch this stuff as background noise

I find a lot of it is vocabulary. You can stuck in the weeds and over fixate on stuff that doesnt matter as much. (Clean code, UB, semantics)
Classes, gets messy and to follow. C Structs and passing in a struct Func(Class) (Operate on struct) easier then Class.Method()

Youtube recommend me her study along streams.
Though, idk shit about Python. Tbh, I find the language hard to read despite it recommended as a good language to learn
Also, might be ADHD cause I want to skip to the fucked up/cool stuff
