Trump's revenge tour is increasingly imperiling his midterm agenda on the Hill.

“Those so-called victories over the last couple weeks are just a mirage. They are self-owns,” said one senior Senate Republican operative.
Trump completed his revenge tour. Allies wonder what it cost.
At the end of a month that put on full display Trump’s dominance over his own party, his season of settling scores may not have advanced the ball toward November.

Trump says Texans shouldn't vote for Talarico because he's a vegan. He isn't – Trump is lying as usual. But if he was, who cares? Is Trump planning an executive order that we have to eat a hamburger every day?
Trump on Talarico: "He believes in six genders, he takes hits at Jesus Christ, he's wearing a mask six months ago. Anybody wearing a mask six months ago doesn't get it. And he's a vegan! He's a vegan in Texas."

This headline is fuel for the right-wing anti-migrant reaction machine, but the article reveals the employer knowingly brought her to the UK under a visitor visa to employ her, then denied her a work permit—and most importantly!—refused to pay her any wages. This looks approximate to modern slavery

Gavin Newsom: It’s a criminal enterprise. It’s not just corruption, it’s not just graft, it’s a full-on criminal enterprise and it needs to be shut down.

At age 12, all I wanted was a small stereo... and a turntable. So my parents got me both for my bday. 1st LP I got to test my turntable was Hunky Dory. In hindsight, Bowie's 1st outstanding album. Eclectic (even a bit messy) but filled with terrific tunes. Changes. Life on Mars. Top-notch David LP.

Guianan Cock-of-the-rock.

This is a striking South American bird known for the male's brilliant orange plumage and large, semi-circular crest, while females are duller olive-gray. A type of cotinga, it lives in tropical rainforests near rocky outcrops and gorges.
