Last month, a law was passed giving the Home Secretary
power to force p*rnography companies to verify the age & permission of everyone featured on their site.

Today our Vice Chair @tracygilbertmp.bsky.social led a debate in Parliament on sex trafficking in Scotland.

Tracy revealed she has written to Police Scotland to report websites advertising prostitution for violating Scotland's anti-trafficking law. The max penalty is life. 👇

Government has pledged to equalise regulation of p*rnography online and offline, boosting controls on websites which freely peddle violence & abuse.

The APPG has has long advocated this. Over 50 MPs backed Vice Chair @jessasatomp.bsky.social's amendment on it 🧵

The APPG on Commercial Sexual Exploitation strongly supports Ash Regan MSP's Prostitution Bill, being debated tomorrow in the Scottish Parliament.

The Bill would outlaw paying for sex and decriminalise victims - recognising prostitution is violence against women.

UK Government must follow suit.
