What's next?

- 12 months is the maximum duration of the review. Gov should deliver before then. Every day, women & children are being harmed
- Withdrawal of consent must be possible for all at any time
- Final regulations must ensure swift enforcement

Government will conduct a review, reporting within 12 months, to determine if & how powers will be used.

Today is a welcome step towards these vital safeguards. It is a victory for the brave survivors who called for them.

The letter calls on the Government to implement the House of Lords vote requiring pornography websites to verify the age & ongoing consent of everyone featured on their platform.

A vital safeguard that should be implemented without delay.

This amendment will deliver justice for survivors. We want to thank the survivors who bravely shared their experiences with Parliament and called for this change.

Government must now ensure the amendment is strongly enforced without delay.

These are vital safeguards to prevent sites hosting child abuse and trafficking – and publishing p*rnography of people against their will
