After moving to SoCal several years ago I basically stopped knitting

My contrarian take on Pluto and planethood is that this is an opportunity to get excited about the whole roster of Dwarf Planets, many of which are named after other mythological figures beyond the Greeks!
That's neat! Spare some love for the other 8 dwarf planets!!

A piece of crop art that deserves more attention: Liberty Leading the People by Bethany Nagan, which earned a 3rd place ribbon. This is her first piece of crop art, and I think she used literally every seed in the catalog 😂.
The parallels between this and the Guernica piece are beautiful.
