They want people to grovel for being “too radical” for the rest of their lives, the same way writing aimed at invalidating Black radical movements in the 60s/70s led to weak supporters apologizing for supporting them as well.
The problem with Woke 1 was its lack of proportionality. That's why everyone who tweeted about how racism is bad should be sent to the Hague.

Weird that this column only mentions prominent celebrities and well-paid institutional leaders and not, say, Dylan Mulvaney or Lia Thomas. I'm sure Bret will be issuing an update soon.
Publishing an item "Buildings Matter Too" right after the death of George Floyd was fucking ghastly, yet this dude wants restitution.

Just once I would love one of these columns to identify precisely what this means. Who, specifically, needs to "acknowledge and reject" wokeness? What would such an acknowledgement look like?

Is there anything conservatives need to acknowledge or reject in their own coalition?

I saw something that said “This is the first generation where women are fully able to choose a male partner solely for personality”

And… exhibit A 🤣🤣🤣
"The matchmakers also puzzled over the Ivy League-educated economist who said he wants to date only women who are thin, have large breasts and are fluent in Mandarin, but who should not have any artistic hobbies or talents. He had been unable to fully articulate why."

I know I’ve bitched about this before…

- I do like to support small businesses, especially minority-owned
- as a small business, that also means the # of staff and/or resources is small

Even so, it’s real fucking annoying that my orders don’t ship until I email asking where it’s at months later.

Oh you have to be a colonizer because Black people are in poor neighborhoods & invade them to improve them? No you sure don't motherfucker. You can give up some of that change you holding & give it to our neighborhoods so they're not poor. We produced your wealth with our blood, sweat & tears.

In May, the White House announced that its new app would be automatically downloaded onto the work phones of millions of government employees. The problem: Federal workers hate it and can’t get rid of it.

“I deleted it as a test and it came immediately back,” says one government employee.

I now fervently believe this. Relatedly, I think celebrating good news and embracing joy are equally radical. You have to remember what you’re fighting for. We cannot sustainably organize around sorrow.
I’m coming to understand that maintaining hope is radical.

::sigh::

The stock market… is also gambling.

PREDICTION SITES ARE JUST THREE GAMBLING APPS IN A TRENCHCOAT.

AND THE TRENCHCOAT IS CLEAR VINYL.

But hey. They’re pushing it to dumb college age kids so they’re gonna do it anyways.

As much as I love the franchise… I’m too old to not buy the disc.

Gimme dat disc goddammit!
THR: "At this point in time, there are no plans for Grand Theft Auto VI discs to be printed — not at launch, and not months after."

Rockstar's email is apparently referring to physical as 'code in box' and 'following months' as following this Wed's announcement, not the months after Nov 19, 2026
