Your regular reminder: If the Russians stop fighting, the war ends. If the Ukrainians stop fighting, their land will be occupied, their leaders will be killed, their history and language will be erased, their children will be kidnapped to serve Russia.

I know it will never happen, but I need someone to ask Trump, "At what point did you realize how massively you fucked up by starting a war with Iran?
This is big: Yemen’s Houthis today captured the Red Sea port of Mocha after government forces pulled out.

Their control of the coast gives them power to threaten Bab el-Mandeb and access to the Red Sea.

50% pass rush win rate for Christian Barmore last night, a massive number. Just 1 QB hit but this PRWR number shows Barmore beat his blocker quickly, repeatedly.

Ruby Bridges was 6-years-old when she stepped into the history books. Bravely accompanied by her mother, she was the first Black child to desegregate an all-white school in the South. It was not long ago…

Today is her birthday. She is still with us. She is 72. Happy birthday, Ruby Bridges 💜

To answer your question Mr Lowe, I do.

His name is Nasser Hamid. He was 16 when he left his village, to escape Sudan's civil war. He could not speak English. Look what he achieved!

I admire his courage, resourcefulness and intelligence. All qualities sadly lacking in... certain people 🤮

As academic dishonesty cases go, this one was pretty minor. It wasn't on the level of Andrew Wakefield whose fraudulent Lancet study supercharged the antivax movement or Lesné and Ashe's bogus work on amyloid that threw off Alzheimer's research for a generation.

Basically, the worst that happened to academia was that Arday got to teach sociology for a couple years at a better university than he deserved to be teaching at.

How the hell have journalists allowed Farage and Yusuf to pretend that their Royal Navy idea is a ‘humanitarian’ mission if ‘innocent’ immigrants are taken back to France, but a full-scale war-like ‘invasion’ of ‘illegals’ if coming our way?
I mean, seriously. Please don’t be this hopeless…

Course you would, “love”…
And Brexit will suddenly be amazing. And climate change will go away. And Trump will give us the bestest trade deal ever. And voters will love you for scrapping their rights, to please your moneyed mates…
Now, pipe down and focus on your upcoming fight with a bin.

Farewell to saxophonist Plas Johnson, who played the iconic tenor sax solo for the "Pink Panther" title theme.
He said: "We only did two takes, I think... When we finished, everyone applauded, even the string players. And that's saying something. They never applaud for anything."

Tories, Farage and the tantruming tabloids whining about Burnham needing a mandate and the country needing an election… just get in the bin.
Your histrionics over the last decade have caused this instability and perma-outrage.
A bunch of entitled inadequates unable to accept Labour being in power.

Burnham is radical on devolution, public ownership and electoral reform. He has appointed serious people with proven track records. He is charismatic, has real emotional presence, and a proven appeal to voters. Why wouldn’t a progressive be excited?

Yeah, because men couldn't bear to lose to a woman.
It has been criminally underreported but Kelsey Pfendler has just rowed solo across the Pacific Ocean from the US coast to Hawaii in record time. A 2,400-mile unsupported journey in 43 days, 17 hours, and 55 minutes. Notably beating the Men’s record by 9 whole days.
