Boy's Night - Gator Days Characters August - Alligator - A soft spoken single father who works in IT. Gustopher's dad. Seth - Otter - The assistant principal at his daughter's school. Used to taking charge but is capable of being silly. He and August go way back. Mewbert and Nougat - Cat - Animal - August and Gustopher's pet cats. Transcript Panel 1 Seth has arrived at August's house. Neither of them have to worry about taking care of the kids tonight so they've decided to have a BOY'S NIGHT! They both have a drink mysteriously called "Drink Pun". Seth: BOY'S NIGHT! August: BOY'S NIGHT! Panel 2 They've decided to relax a little before going out. Seth immediately starts looking for something to watch. Seth: Let's start with a movie and pizza. August: BOY'S NIGHT! It's well known that if you don't know what to say on a Boy's Night, you just yell, "BOY'S NIGHT!" Panel 3 Seth remembers something important. Seth: Oh, no pepperoni. My heartburn has been awful. August: Same. I can assure you that they will both still have heartburn. Panel 4 Seth and August on the couch with the movine playing. August's cats have curled up on their blanket covered laps. Nougat watches the movie with great interest and Mewbert just immediately goes to sleep. Seth: BOY'S NIGHT! August has already fallen asleep.

In English i have always know them as floppies, but in Argentina we do call them diskettes

I am the exact kind of pedantic nerd that would make this kind of argument if it were true, but I am also old enough to have used these. And yes, we just called them floppies. Almost nobody actually said diskette.

there is a woman on TikTok who has been arguing for months now with randos that keep insisting that nobody called 3.5" disks "floppy disks" or "floppies" at the time. it's weird. no matter what kind of proof she provides or how many agree with her, people are coming out of the woodwork to disagree
