Instead of throwing trans people under the bus, democrats should really be messaging how trump has given us the largest tax increase on the middle class we’ve had in a long time. All the while lowering the taxes on the rich. The tariffs were just to build space for that cut.

I find it very difficult to disagree with this. My entire life honestly republicans have been fear and hate mongers and all around racists with imperialist intentions. They have been anti-worker through and through. I see no redeeming qualities in the republican party. Some of their followers maybe.
There's definitely a generational divide when it comes to battling the GOP. Millennials have been terrorized by Republicans for their entire adult lives. There is no memory of "reasonable" Republicans, which boomers can never let go of.
El-Sayed seems quite capable of punching at the GOP machine and it’s something most elected Democrats are thoroughly unwilling to do

If you are a cis ally in the UK it is incumbent upon you to start transvestigating every single person you encounter in the bathroom as a form of civil disobedience in response to the new EHRC Guidelines. Like do the antitrans bigots not realize that trans women a) can grow long hair, b) wear stuff other than dresses and c) can grow tits and usually don’t have implants? I keep hearing about a man in a dress and a wig in the bathroom. That’s not how this works.

On Sunday I read a story about May Pollard. I've been fighting with a really bad episode of depression since. Like how am I supposed to not feel depressed with everything going on. Real Q. Are cis allies actually interested in helping the trans community? Because anytime it gets difficult I find they shut down.

By July 2026, there are only about 31 left that still prescribe hormones and puberty blockers.

One of the most frustrating things I’ve heard from cis friends is how they don’t pay attention to all the anti trans stuff because it’s just too depressing. How depressing do you think it is for those of us having our rights dismantled day in and day out? I wish they would get over themselves

I really don’t understand how platonic relationships work for other people. I know there are a few people who operate similarly to how I do but they are definitely the exception rather than the rule. Idk how to explain what I’m thinking. But I have some amazing people in my life.
