I believe in getting enough dietary fiber which is why every few days I hork down an entire can of beans, blissfully forgetting that not keeping up a consistent intake of fiber leads to sonically unpleasant consequences.

I love that we live in a reality that John scalzi has to clarify that the banana is not in fact going into the menudo
A big-ass can of hominy, with banana for scale. The hominy is going into Krissy's traditional New Year's menudo (and in fact is currently IN the traditional New Year's menudo, which will now simmer on the stove for no less than 24 hours). The banana is not going into the menudo.

I was a very happy Patron of Elaine's and only stopped because of my income level. If I had more disposable income I'd still be patron to this day.
And now it's dropped to the lowest it's been in years, OOF. It's uh...not great. No new folks last month either, so need to make up a chunk of loss ^_^;
So if you have a couple of bucks to spare a month, the $1~$5 tiers are the lifeblood of a patreon. It might not feel like enough, but it builds up
