We had over 40 items brought to be repaired but as we had 3 hours to work through them, it was a much more relaxed and pleasant experience. We'll share some more photos and stories about the repairs soon.

Volunteers and guests received Individual cupcakes in presentation boxes made by Graham and Helen, plus envelopes with Wirral Repair Cafe business cards in.

We get a lot of requests about whether we can repair a particular object. Our volunteers are able to mend a wide range of items so it's best just to bring your item along to the Repair Cafe, where it can be looked at and fixed if it is possible to do so.

Dear Labour supporters. If you want to put me off voting Green rather than Labour, the key is *not* to attack the Greens, but to ask yourself why I, a life-long Labour supporter, who has voted Labour at every GE since 1983 (my first), can't support Labour.

Look at yourselves. Look at your party.

Did BBC radio 4 #Today programme really just do a whole package about drilling in the N Sea without once even mentioning #climate change? And not having anyone challenging the one-sided claims of former BP boss? So irresponsible #bbcr4today

A terrible decision, and one which will do huge damage to the Government's climate credentials.

As Ed knows, this drilling won't lower bills, but instead it sends a clear message that Britain won't be a world leader on ending oil and gas exploitation
