When Soto signed a 15 year contract, I assumed it would be the *next* 15 years. Having him time travel to past seasons is pretty clever though. Add him to the ‘05 roster and an outfield with him, Carlos Beltran, and Cliff Floyd is pretty damn good.

The issue here is that the local pronunciation isn't *really* "Mel-bin" - it's somewhere between that and "Mel-burn". If you don't try to say the "r" at all, it comes across as trying too hard to do the local accent.
Still way better than "Mel-born" and I think Eagle should get props for trying.
