2. They're jaunty, community-minded types, and IF they could move, I bet they'd want to cheerily bounce their way around the neighbourhood on a roundabout sort of a route, frequently pausing to acknowledge strangers and familiar faces alike.

And yes, I know elements of it are problematic. I don't cling to it as the basis of my moral philosophy. But as a primary school child it felt like it had been written just for me.

My only issue with that kind of breakfast is the requirement to be up, dressed, and preferably showered before you can access it.

I need the tea, biscuit and ibuprofen kind of breakfast while still in my nightie before I can face that!

I thought I could handle a space-gel ant farm.

I bumped into the furniture and knocked it over, traumatizing them so they would no longer tunnel.

Then they started nibbling the seal at the top and the skinnier ones escaped.

It's ok. My kid told me just last night that he plans to earn enough money to make sure the Phoenix stays in business so you lot will keep drawing funny stories for him.

I don't go quite that far, but I do believe that whatever is behind each door should be a small piece of instant gratification. Not a task, not an advertising sample, not something which won't show results for ages.

Right there with you. I'm not unadventurous, I'll try most things, but if it hurts my mouth, I don't feel inclined to have any more! And I don't think that's unreasonable!

I prefer to read, always have. A lot of my reading time happens when I can't have earbuds in, and having anything playing out loud is just *asking* for my family to talk all over it.
