my feelings on this are pretty straightforward: if you have a problem with poor people having greater access to less expensive food then you’re a fucking psycho.
Weird how much discourse around the Mamdani grocery stores ignores the existence of the Green Cart intiative (launched under Bloomberg) that provides subsidized fruit and vegetable stands across the city under the exact same logic as the grocery stores

Every Democrat's platform for 2026 and beyond must address the needs of real people AND structural reform of our broken government. That includes an expanded Supreme Court, a strong push to make DC & PR states, changes in Senate rules, an end to Citizen's United and serious campaign finance reform.
