I know it might feel good to attack Vance for saying it was a great achievement to cut off all US aid to Ukraine. However that was never up to Vance, it was entirely Trump’s decision.
If you attack Vance and don’t mention Trump, you are spreading a false idea.

I remember when ‘Brexit Means Brexit’ became a way for silly people to insist that they supported something they could neither justify nor explain. Obviously the context is very different, but something similar is already happening with the ‘war’ in Iran. And it’s mostly the same people doing it.

My bet is that this war will end not like WW2 but like WW1 — when Putin runs out of resources.

He’s already spent his national reserve fund. His last big pile of resources is the gold reserve. He started with 2,200 tons. I hear it’s down to 1,700. This is how he’s funding his war.
