Tonight I had a volunteer shift. I chopped red peppers and cabbage for two hours. Someone else was on watermelon, somebody on apples, tomatoes, carrots. All produce that would've been tossed out. It'll feed hundreds of people fresh meals. That is community. Good people are still doing good work.
