Exactly this.

It's what Russia has done for 100+ years.

Disinformation and meddling are what Russian intelligence does.
"It's just part of what they do!"

Andrew Marr asks former Head of MI6, Sir Richard Moore, if he thinks Russia tampered in the Brexit referendum.

This is what oil trapped at Hormuz looks like.

Hundreds of ships are stuck or waiting. This is real footage.

The war with Iran has disrupted a key global oil route. Yet Trump blames Zelenskyy and Ukraine’s strikes on Russian refineries for the diesel squeeze.

It is a truly bizarre assertion. Not only geography, but our AngloSaxon/Roman/Norman history and language, our intensely European royal family, so much of our modern history, our intellectual and cultural evolution, our economic and everyday interactions, our ethnicity - all so very European.
No wonder Tom voted for Brexit, he thinks Britain is 3,500 miles west of Europe.

Will international media ever start covering Russia’s ongoing genocide? Ukrainians in Russian occupied Oleshky are eating grass and weeds to survive and the world stays silent 😭
'Nothing left to eat' — Sybiha urges partners to act on Oleshky humanitarian crisis
Oleshky's population has fallen from around 24,000 to approximately 2,000 as of spring 2026, according to the Foreign Ministry.

People in Oleshky have no food and are surviving on grass and weeds, a desperate measure that won't even be an option in the winter. Real pressure must be applied to Russia to allow people to evacuate!

Liar.

Small boat crossings peaked under Johnson in 2022 reaching 46,000 in 2022.

In current year they are 18,565 and falling.

Also prior to Boris Johnson's Brexit there were none.

BOLTON: Europeans imposed 21 sanctions packages on Russia over 4 years. They should've been imposed all at once in February 2022. That, and strict enforcement, would've had much greater effect. Gradual escalation of sanctions has been a mistake, they can and should be tightened.

Happy Ukrainian Flag Day. 🇺🇦

This flag has come to represent far more than a nation.

Freedom, Defiance, Sacrifice & Resilience.

From occupied cities to the frontline, Ukrainians have fought, suffered and died beneath these colours.

The flag still flies in 2026

Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦

Yep. Russia has a problem of knowing when/where to stop - its is already 30% non-Russian (eg Chechnya etc) , and wants/has wanted to control Ukraine, Belorussia, Moldova, Caucasus states, Baltics, Finland, Central Asia, Poland, central Europe, northern Kurile islands, Afghanistan, Iran etc etc
Oleksandra Matviichuk: Russian Empire has a center, but has no borders. We're fighting to stop Russian Empire.

Ukrainians are fighting for freedom in all senses: for freedom to be independent country, not Russian colony.

For freedom to preserve our identity,

🇺🇦 In Kharkiv, Russia destroyed 8 million books from several publishing houses with two jet-propelled drones. Nearly a third of Ukraine's annual production.

One million of those books were schoolbooks to be used in a few weeks by primary & secondary school children.

The fire isn't extinguished yet.

This is the line the US took at the beginning of WW1 and WW2. Trump is not an aberration. US commitment to Europe during the Cold War was the aberration.
Q: Russia seems to have increased their attacks on civilian targets. That must be of concern to you.

TRUMP: Look, we're not involved. We're separated by an ocean.

Depends on what one thinks the job is. Privatisation was not aimed at ensuring greater efficiency, better service etc. It was aimed at transferring wealth to the already wealthy. Public utilities were basically given away, and there is little regulation of performance. So, they are doing their job.
I think if you’re the CEO of an extremely politically exposed firm in the public eye and you agree to take this kind of pay increase at this moment, you’re essentially demonstrating that you are not up to the job.
looks like Thames Water has given a 14% pay rise to its chief executive and a 26% rise to its finance director
