Workers on the Flotta oil terminal have secured a new pay deal after the threat of strike action. Approximately 20 offshore workers employed by Neo Next + Energy E&P UK Ltd in Orkney backed an enhanced pay deal after they had previously voted for strike action. The workers include production technicians and control room operators. A revised pay offer was tabled by the company following the strike mandate.

"Since the announcement of a ceasefire agreement on 10 October 2025 and as of 5 August 2026, 1,254 Palestinians were killed, 4,121 were injured, and 804 were retrieved from under the rubble."
