Actually more cheerful than my online presence would suggest.
I post a lot about my hair and my search for miracle potions. And TV. Lots of TV. A bit of football stuff. I'm not very deep.
I'd forgotten about him!

It might not be what he means but it's how it's coming across. I think he was very stupid to wade into it.

Yup. Just think he needs to be very careful with his public statements here.

And Burnham was wrong to try and intervene then as well.

And also...we shouldn't be dependent on the benevolence of corrupt tax dodgers seems a pretty basic concept.

And that's just *one* arrangement with *one* person. You'd imagine this will apply to players and every manager since.

Wtf was Burnham thinking yesterday?

Agree. Really stupid moves.

On a completely unrelated note, Darren England and Dan Cook were on VAR duties for Spurs V Liverpool when they incorrectly disallowed Diaz's goal. 48 hours earlier they'd earned £20k for a single match in the UAE.

Friend of LFC (lol) Michael Oliver officiated the same UAE match.

I don't think the fans were arsed. They were happy with the sportswashing - just because they didn't know extent of the fraud doesn't mean they were ok to turn a blind eye to what was obvious to everyone.

Hmmm yes. On one hand as a fan he's probably peeved at how "harshly" Everton were treated so would want City's punishment to be proportionate but as a politician...well he's a very good politician.

Remember how the Tories got the Saudi purchase of Newcastle pushed through? It makes me wonder how much City thought/assumed/were told they had protection form UK Gov?
