We were lucky enough to be in Toulouse this weekend but driving home from Cahors tonight the sky was yellow. This isn’t haze outside but smoke. We’ve barricaded the cat flap shut. The cats are disgusted but came in smelling of smoke so it’s for their own good.

Went ‘out out’ and saw tourists who’d clearly been out in the sun. Bright red legs. Can’t even imagine choosing to ‘tourist’ out in this heat.

When twin 1 gets her Erasmus accommodation offer from Cardiff Uni and foreign students have to pay the year upfront 😱😳 Thank goodness I didn’t book a holiday this summer 😳

Had a load of apricots that needed using so made a tart this morning!! First time the oven has been on in weeks. This should make twin 2 very happy when she finally gets out of bed. 😊
