We had a little yesterday but the rain forecast for tomorrow has now disappeared from my weather app. Receiving emails about ‘autumn layering’ when we have temps of 31 for next week 🤯 Yes, I’m worried.

What worries me is there are potentially so many candidates standing in the first round that the RN will get in because the rest of them are so all over the place. It’s a right mess tbh. I’ll have a vote and all I’m certain of so far is who I won’t be voting for.

Toulouse airport on Saturday morning on a flight from Canada - 2 booths open and no separate EU line. Quite the welcome to France. Most on the flight were Canadian so it must have taken forever to photograph them all.

I think the heat here this summer has helped. I’m down 3kg without really trying. We were existing on melon and salad all summer and even now it’s too hot to bother. Well done though, almost 2 stone is a great achievement!

Yep. The other day I paid in cash and she wanted the odd centimes to round up the change - I was 1c short so she said don’t worry and grabbed one from the side of the till. Clearly a trusted local now 🤣

I just happened to wake up - too hot to sleep - and it occurred to me to check. You’re right it didn’t feel ‘properly’ dark but I was pleased to see a few. We used to lie on the grass for hours watching but the tiger mossies make that impossible now.
